Are you a recent graduate working for a big-name firm?

Many young architects think they have to go to a large city and work for a big-name firm to gain experience. What they don't seem to grasp is that they often end up being a no-name person back in a cubicle somewhere doing grunt work. We offer a lot more than that...

Do you like wasting a couple of hours every day in the rush-hour Dallas (or any other big city) rat-race traffic?

If you want to grow and learn, are a team-player, are talented and responsible, you will probably want to work for us. We are an award-winning firm in Tyler Texas with over twenty years of successful history and many repeat clients.

We will give you as much responsibility as you demonstrate you can handle and you will gain a wealth of experience in all stages of projects, from programming, concept design, CD's and bidding through site administration. Our interns and architects will tell you that, compared to many of their contemporaries in big name firms, they have gained far better and more wide-ranging experience then them.

Our clients don't have money to burn like some in the large centers and our challenge - that we meet very well - is to give them the best value and quality for their dollar that we can. It is easy to design something exciting when you have a massive budget - but far more challenging when it is tight.

As far as CAD goes, we use the latest - AutoCAD 2010, SketchUp Professional and MicroStation V8i. One of our principals, Alan Roberts, AIA has been invited to speak three times at the TSA Convention where he has given very popular presentations on efficient CAD use and implementation. You will be learning from the best.

Sure - you won't earn in Tyler what you would earn in Dallas - BUT, your cost of living will be lower, you will have a much shorter and quicker commute to work, you will have far greater ranging architectural experience. (If you need to get into a large city, Dallas is on ly 100 miles west). You will enjoy a relaxing lifestyle out in the country , (20 minutes to Lake Palestine if you like fishing) and, by the way, we pay well for firms in this region. If you prove yourself to us you will be well compensated.
